Learn How To Avoid Shady Wholesale Suppliers

Thursday, November 19th, 2009

One of the best advantages your retail business can have is a reliable wholesaler who can supply you with the items which your customers will love. If you can track down one of these good wholesale sources, you can be sure that your business will have steady business due to your low prices and high quality items.

Unfortunately, this is a lot easier said than done as there are numerous wholesale suppliers who always fail to deliver, or downright defraud their customers. Some of the biggest complaints about wholesalers  are those who deliver incorrect merchandise, misleading prices which are artificially high, and refusing refunds on incorrectly and damaged products.

As you can see, there is a minefield of problems which you will need to avoid when dealing with wholesale distributors.

If you are lucky enough to find a wholesale supplier who has been in business for many years and therefore has earned themselves a reputation as trustworthy and reliable, this should be your number one choice for buying your goods. However, these businesses are few and far between.

Be careful to select products from the inventory that you think will sell well to the market you are targeting. If you are at all unsure, then it is wise to do a few test sales by ordering a small quantity of wholesale goods at first, and seeing whether your sales strategy is sound.

Avoid getting distracted by the myriad of items that your wholesale distributor has to offer. It is important that you understand your market and know what they will want to purchase, otherwise you may end up with a garage full of low priced goods but no one to sell them to.

By sticking to these few simple rules, your experience with your wholesale distributor will be both pleasant and profitable. By the end of the process, you will be glad that you spent the time seeking these wholesale suppliers out.

Reviews For Dishonest Wholesalers Clog Rip Off Report

Thursday, November 19th, 2009

I was looking around the web the other day and I came across the Rip Off Report which is a consumer site warning others of the pitfalls of conducting business with different companies.

As I’d been looking into different wholesalersuppliers, I decided I would just have a quick look and find out if there was anything there about them which might help me gauge whether they were a good company or not.

Obviously, because there are so many wholesale suppliers out there, lots of the ones that I looked up didn’t come up with anything, but I was really surprised to see the number of reports about one major company that is the source to a lot of eBay sellers.

What was most surprising was that I thought this was a legitimate drop ship company – or at least that was what all the information I had had said – but reading through this I found out that they were only a hub for the transactions to be conducted through. In traditional business models, this would be something that people are more likely to avoid. However, when it comes to online vending, this is actually something that is highly sought after.

Of course that’s not a bad thing that it’s an easy place to acquire lots of goods, but I didn’t realize just how high the markups were on the items that they were offering. I read that in some cases the markup is as high as 15% on the price, which when you are looking at the difference between wholesaling and retailing, really is the profit margin.

It just made me think twice about the best wholesale suppliers and I will certainly do more research to find out where I can get the best prices for the items that I will be selling.

Is Wholesale Sourcing A Scam?

Thursday, November 19th, 2009

A lot of people who are researching the lot of wholesale suppliers will stumble upon a wholesaling and drop ship service which offers its customers the opportunity to buy merchandise below retail price and then sell them on for a profit.

There are a lot of different people who take advantage of these services but it is important that you know what you are getting into when you sign up for an account. While there are a lot of drop shipping wholesalers out there in the world, not all of them have the greatest intentions, so do the basic research.

Once you have set yourself up for a free trial, you will often be contacted by a sales representative who will persuade you to pay for a full year’s subscription to the service which will, in the long term, save you a lot of money.  Often the savings will come from the volume of sales you will make, so you should be prepared to invest some time in the growth of your business.  It’s crucial to note however, that if you decide to cease trading or if you decide this sort of business is not for you, you will not get a refund of this amount.

One of the other problems with this service is that because it is a cumulative marketplace, all the merchandise on offer are marked up between 10-15% on the price that you would get if you went directly to thewholesaler source or the drop ship supplier. Many customers will will be let down and leave the service as they find they are not able to make the amount of profit that they had initially hoped was possible.

If you plan to use a service such as this, it is highly recommended that if you exercise some amount of caution and utilize your best judgment.

Journalist Blogging And Making Money

Thursday, November 19th, 2009

Blogging has turned out to be a lucrative career for some people these days. Most of them have quit their day jobs just to concentrate on writing posts which are earning them huge commissions from the ads they post on their blogs. The question for most people planning to follow suit, however, is not how to start a blog but rather what to blog about in order to get more readers interested in their posts and, of course, to get more clicks and sales from the ads on their blogs. There could in fact be many choices that could be considered bankable enough. But a very recent trend that has been emerging is journalism blogging. Journalism blogging is a way of reporting events through blogs instead of the traditional media such as newspapers, radio and tv. One advantage of journalism blogging is it doesn’t take too long for news of an event to reach the public. Once the blogger has his information and a number of images, he is able to upload everything at once and will get the post published in seconds. This speeds up the time that word about the event spreads to people and this makes blogging a very good medium for increasing public awareness about things happening all over the globe. One more advantage of blogging is for news to be presented with the personal perspective of the blogger. The events are reported from a very human vantage point. Somehow, the event becomes a personal experience even to people who may be on the other side of the globe. It allows for greater sympathy and empathy to be elicited from the public as they watch an event unfold before their eyes and in a manner that is more touching than any other conventional means of reporting. With blogs, people are also able to give their comments on the event that is being reported. In cases of catastrophes or calamities, this makes a very good venue for people to pool their resources together and be able to help those who are in the most unlucky of situations. More voices are heard and more possibilities are explored. Again, reporting incidents like this through traditional means would take a lot of time for help to come but with blogs, everything can be organized in a matter of hours and this is expected to make a very big difference as far decreasing the time it takes to make help available for affected communities is concerned. When it comes to making money blogging, the question is no longer how to blog but rather how to make blog posts more interesting to people so more traffic comes in and more ads are clicked. With the most interesting stories, making money blogging surely won’t be a feat.

Money Blogs – How To Structure Your Ads

Thursday, November 19th, 2009

Many things have been written about how to create the perfect blog that makes the most money. Everybody knows that content is king and that for the content to actually make money, you have to put ads on your page where people can click and possibly make a purchase. Any guru’s manual on how to start a blog will always make mention of one of the most popular ad-generating programs for your blog – Google Adsense. While this works by having people click on ads and earning you an amount for each click, it doesn’t mean that their mere presence in your blog will actually have people clicking on them. When talking about these ads, most usually forget about a basic element that may make or break their chances of being clicked. What you need is a good way to structure those ads on your page so they tend to be more attractive to readers. For example, Goodgle Adsense is a good program to have on your blog. You simply make options that indicate what type of products you want advertised and the program will look for such ads and paste them on your page. The issue is, putting those ads on any portion of your page doesn’t necessarily bring the same results. Putting those ads at the top of your post will probably not be good for your blog because people might feel discouraged by the fact that all they see initially are ads. A better place for them would probably be the bottom of your page where readers will eventually get to if they’re serious enough about reading your posts. If they find anything interesting, they’ll more likely click on it because they’ve had the satisfaction of reading a good post. Clicking on that ad won’t be a chore. The way your ads look will also have a way of influencing whether or not your readers are going to click on them, much less stay on your page long enough to read your posts. When you decide to have those ads on your page, you actually also have the option to choose which font colors to use. This is very important because a loud color combination can be very stressing to the eyes and whether or not readers are aware of it, they’re likely to respond the same way – click out. Make sure that when visitors come to read your blog, it will be an initially delightful experience. Don’t make them have to criticize a page that is poor in color coordination. Whether you like it or not, visual appeal accounts for a significant portion of why people will stay, read your blog and click on your ads. Having a blog make money is not an easy task but it not gargantuan, either. This means that whatever formula worked for the successful ones, they won’t be too hard to figure out as long as you know what what you’re doing. Then how to make money blogging will start to come naturally.

Why Everyone Should Create A Blog?

Thursday, November 19th, 2009

It is normal for people to communicate with each other because it is the only way that we can understand and live with each other. These days, people whether young or old find ways of expressing themselves in public. The phrases that are used are usually generalized by younger people compared to people of other ages. Usually, these phrases are taken out of a popular song or popular movie. It is common knowledge that most songs or films are based on important aspects of our lives. Eventually, the older people pick up the habit of using this phrase.

Communication between millions of people on the internet is very popular these days and it is called blogging. Most people do not know that this method of communication was started by teenagers. There are so many websites where you can communicate with other people by blogging. I discovered blogging when I overheard my colleagues discussing about it. I walked over to them to find out what they were talking about and they explained everything to me. I was surprised to hear that some people will post comments about their life and other people will make remarks or give advice on what they read.

Eventually, my sister told me that her son wants to create a blog soon because he planned to communicate each member of his extended family. This would be an easy way of looking at pictures of family members and also plan family reunions. This was an excellent idea because I realized that I have not communicated with my brother or sister’s children for several years. Moreover, communication by creation of blogs would reduce the cost of phoning your loved ones.

You will agree with me that if you can create a blog, you will be able to communicate with so many people within a very short timeframe as long as there is a huge blog traffic on the site. In this way, people that are looking for a particular item, product, place or any information whatsoever can get the required information by other people.

You can create a blog for your social networking website where pictures and videos can be uploaded and information can be shared. Blog marketing also good for advertise products and services. So many people are making money from their social networking websites and you can create a blog in order to start your own online business.
