I was looking around the web the other day and I came across the Rip Off Report which is a consumer site warning others of the pitfalls of conducting business with different companies.
As I’d been looking into different wholesalersuppliers, I decided I would just have a quick look and find out if there was anything there about them which might help me gauge whether they were a good company or not.
Obviously, because there are so many wholesale suppliers out there, lots of the ones that I looked up didn’t come up with anything, but I was really surprised to see the number of reports about one major company that is the source to a lot of eBay sellers.
What was most surprising was that I thought this was a legitimate drop ship company – or at least that was what all the information I had had said – but reading through this I found out that they were only a hub for the transactions to be conducted through. In traditional business models, this would be something that people are more likely to avoid. However, when it comes to online vending, this is actually something that is highly sought after.
Of course that’s not a bad thing that it’s an easy place to acquire lots of goods, but I didn’t realize just how high the markups were on the items that they were offering. I read that in some cases the markup is as high as 15% on the price, which when you are looking at the difference between wholesaling and retailing, really is the profit margin.
It just made me think twice about the best wholesale suppliers and I will certainly do more research to find out where I can get the best prices for the items that I will be selling.

A lot of people who are researching the lot of wholesale suppliers will stumble upon a wholesaling and drop ship service which offers its customers the opportunity to buy merchandise below retail price and then sell them on for a profit.
There are a lot of different people who take advantage of these services but it is important that you know what you are getting into when you sign up for an account. While there are a lot of drop shipping wholesalers out there in the world, not all of them have the greatest intentions, so do the basic research.
Once you have set yourself up for a free trial, you will often be contacted by a sales representative who will persuade you to pay for a full year’s subscription to the service which will, in the long term, save you a lot of money. Often the savings will come from the volume of sales you will make, so you should be prepared to invest some time in the growth of your business. It’s crucial to note however, that if you decide to cease trading or if you decide this sort of business is not for you, you will not get a refund of this amount.
One of the other problems with this service is that because it is a cumulative marketplace, all the merchandise on offer are marked up between 10-15% on the price that you would get if you went directly to thewholesaler source or the drop ship supplier. Many customers will will be let down and leave the service as they find they are not able to make the amount of profit that they had initially hoped was possible.
If you plan to use a service such as this, it is highly recommended that if you exercise some amount of caution and utilize your best judgment.

I have been doing research into good wholesale distributors for a while now, and I’m continually surprised to hear how people are getting caught out with the simplest things. As entrepreneurs and business owners, it is important to remember to use your business acumen despite your sheer enthusiasm.
For years, one of the major problems has been businesses who claim to be wholesale suppliers but are actually just intermediaries jacking the price up and passing on a product.
What was most surprising for me was that I found out that some of the major players are in wholesale distributing are actually intermediaries. I was reading the other day about a lady who had been using one service for over a year and as her business grew she decided to look into other avenues to obtain goods.
She said she was really surprised to find out that the item she had been buying through this wholesale distributor was actually available much cheaper straight from the drop ship source.
Because of the monthly subscription fee she had paid to use this site, she had believed that the prices she was getting were the best available and was surprised to find out that they carried a 10-15% markup.
I realize that this is a situation that many people must be in, and it is literally killing their profits. So in order to avoid the middlemen trap, it’s important to track down awholesaler or drop shipper who is providing you with the best possible price for your item.
By going directly to a wholesale supplier, or liquidator, rather than third party broker, you will get maximum profit levels and see more business success. With one quick step, not only do your save a lot of effort, but you also maximize your profits and increase the profitability for your business.

Drop shipping is the method of a vendor marketing a product for sale without it being stocked by that retailer. Instead, a wholesale source carries the item in stock and ships it to the end customer when a sale is made. This is a great system for people who do not want to invest their money to stock their retail business, or simply do not have the means to do so. It is a very lean way of smaller companies doing business alongside larger companies who they would not usually be able to compete with.
There are a few drawbacks associated with drop ship sources. Often, the shipping time between to the customer can take longer than one hopes. This is usually due to a drop shipper being an agent for many various sellers and there can be a wait to ‘pick and pack’ items from the warehouse. Unfortunately, if this is a particular problem for the drop shipper you use, it reflects poorly on your business rather than theirs, as the customer sees you as the merchant, not the drop shipper.
If you find a reliable drop ship distributor with efficient processes in place, this can be a rewarding and interesting way to make money online. The best sort of drop ship source to use is one which is also a wholesaler, as this will negate any additional costs that may be added if a drop ship source is a middleman between a wholesaler and a retailer.
If your supply chain, and that means your drop ship source, is reliable and trustworthy, it can be the difference between success and failure in the online business. Remember to keep our tips and advice in mind and you should be more than prepared to make the right moves when it comes to finding wholesale goods and finding the right ways to sell the items.

Some of the major players in the drop ship industry are also those which you should be best avoiding. Because of the way that drop shipping works, one of the most crucial things that you need to consider is the price of the items that the drop shipper can supply. When it comes down to it, the best and ideal drop shipping provider will not only have the lowest prices for the goods that you are looking for, they will also offer the items for the lowest price possible.
Although the big players claim that they are offering products below the manufacturer’s recommended retail price, it does not necessarily mean that they are offering you the best deal that is available for those items. Before dealing with a wholesale drop shipping source, do some research and see if they really are offering the merchandise at the best price. You never know what kind of deal is out there and this type of diligence can be the difference between failure and success.
The drop ship supply process is very different to that of the regular wholesale process, in that usually the best wholesale bargains are found when you make a bulk order. When you are dealing with a drop ship supplier, it is more likely that you will be purchasing items individually and so will not be able to take advantage of bulk buy discounts.
There have been many cases of sellers who simply cannot shift their itemsthrough these large drop ship suppliers, as they are unable to compete with others in the market that have gone directly to the supplier. In addition, with the monthly fees that are sometimes associated with these systems, it can be hard to turn a decent profit which makes your time and effort worthwhile.
If you plan to utilize a large drop ship supplier, it is wise to do some research to ensure that you are getting the lowest possible price and that you wouldn’t be better expending your efforts in other avenues.
